Why we don't install the cheapest units
The price gap between a no-name unit and a good mid-range inverter is 2–3 thousand lei. Over 10 years it comes back several times: in electricity bills, repairs and a quiet bedroom.
- The compressor decides everythingMid-range units use GMCC, Toshiba and Mitsubishi compressors rated for 10+ years. Cheap ones use unnamed compressors, and the compressor is what fails most often; replacing it costs half a new unit.
- Class A++ instead of AAn A++ inverter uses 20–30 % less electricity. At 600 hours of cooling and 800 of heating a year that is about 570 lei annually — over 10 years more than the whole price gap.
- Copper heat exchangerCheap models save on aluminium tubing and thin casings: corrosion and refrigerant leaks after 3–4 seasons. Copper lasts the full life.
- 5–8 dB quieter20–22 dB versus 28–32 dB at night in a bedroom is the difference between “inaudible” and “keeps you awake”.

What people ask before buying
How much does installation cost?
One-visit installation of a wall unit costs 1 800 lei for a room up to 35 m², 2 200 lei up to 55 m², 2 400 lei up to 80 m². This is the crew’s labour: wall hole, pipework laying, drain connection, vacuuming and start-up. Materials (pipes, drain, cable per metre, brackets, trunking) and chasing are priced separately at the survey. Example: room up to 35 m², 4 m of pipework — 1 800 lei labour + 1 600 lei pipework + 400 lei brackets = 3 800 lei.
How long does it take?
A standard wall-unit installation takes 3–5 hours within your chosen slot: 09:30–12:30, 12:30–15:30 or 15:30–18:00.
Can it be installed during renovation?
Yes, the best option: stage 1 lays the pipework in the wall, stage 2 fits the units after the renovation. No visible pipes.
What warranty do you give?
2 years on the unit and 2 years on installation. With annual cleaning by us, the installation warranty extends to 5 years.
How do installments work?
Arranged via iute over the phone in 5–7 minutes with your ID card. No overpayment — 4 or 6 equal payments. Installments cover the unit only: installation, extras and materials are paid to the installer after fitting.
