Why one installation differs from another
- What makes one installation better than anotherThe difference is in the approach: the crew agrees every detail with the customer — where the unit goes, where the condensate drains (for example, into a storm drain), concealed piping with no trunking. They drill with dry core bits and a vacuum, so there's almost no dust and nothing to clean up afterwards.
- A 2-year installation warrantyArctica Service gives a 2-year warranty on installation — the same as the standard 24-month warranty on the equipment. Egor explains how poor workmanship (badly flared pipes) leads to refrigerant leaks and a burnt-out compressor, and without a warranty from the installer or the shop the buyer is left with nothing.
- Pipes in the wall during renovation: what to plan aheadRenovation is the best time to hide the pipework in the walls: no visible pipes or cables and nothing extra on the façade — especially in new builds. Units up to 18,000 BTU use standard 1/4" and 3/8" pipes, so you can buy the unit itself later; for more powerful models, agree the model and capacity with a specialist in advance.
